Nothing announces the arrival of summer quite like the lively happenings at the iconic Missoula County Fairgrounds! While the teams at Axiom Engineering Group contribute to projects across the nation, we have a special place in our hearts for the work we get to do in our hometown — especially when the project is as beloved and rich in history as our local fairgrounds.

We are so proud to have partnered with our friends at A&E Design on the renovation and restoration of several historic buildings at the Missoula County Fairgrounds — a project rooted in legacy and revitalization. With its permanent location established in 1916, the Fairgrounds complex has been the home of countless sources of entertainment, education, gathering, culture, community engagement, and so much more over the passing decades.

It was a true pleasure to support the work of revitalizing spaces like the Culinary, Concessions, Livestock, and Maintenance Facilities with our engineering services — with each building updated and preserved to keep Missoula's traditions alive for generations to come. Projects like this remind us why we do what we do: building for the future while honoring the past.

Check out A&E Design's post for the great highlight on this set of projects, and visit the Missoula County Fairgrounds for a summer full of fun events in their beautiful facilities!
